Single-View photo tips
3 min read
Single-View generation creates a model from one front photo. It is the fastest way to a presentable result, and the right photo choice does most of the work.
What Single-View is best at
Single-View suits products with a clear silhouette and a front that carries most of the visual information—packaged goods, shoes shown from a three-quarter angle, decor, and small accessories. The back and sides are estimated from the front view, so simpler shapes reconstruct more convincingly.
Choosing the front view
Photograph the product straight on, upright, and centered, with the camera at the product's own height. A slight three-quarter angle is fine if that is how shoppers usually see the item. Keep the whole product in frame and avoid tilting the camera.
Preparing the photo
Upload a JPG, PNG, or WebP file up to 6 MB. You can crop and reposition the photo before submitting—use it to center the product and remove empty space rather than to zoom aggressively. Very tight crops amplify noise; leave a small margin around the product.
When to choose Multi-View instead
Choose Multi-View when the back or sides carry important details, when the product has real depth—like furniture—or when a previous Single-View result felt flat or guessed. Multi-View costs more Credits but gives the generator measured views instead of estimates.
